Six players were suspended by the Malta Disciplinary Commissioner on Tuesday following the mid-week programme from the 360Sports Malta Premier.

Birkirkara goalkeeper Giacomo Volpe and Floriana midfielder Fernandinho were banned for three matches while Manuel Morello (Birkirkara), Joseph Mbong (Hamrun), Aldair Simanca (Melita) and Matthias Debono (Naxxar) were banned for one match.

Birkirkara president Michael Valenzia, Floriana official Florian Piscopo and Gzira official Gaetano Greco were also handed a one-match ban.
