Luxol St Andrew’s and Swieqi United registered important wins in the Enemed Futsal Premier League to maintain their top positions in the standings.

Champions Luxol dominated their encounter against Ta’ Xbiex, winning 6-1. Gabriel Dobre’s boys were 4-0 up by the end of the first half and continued to manage their lead in the second half.

Jhon Castro Pulido scored three goals, Jefferson Breno two and Maicon once. Ta’ Xbiex reduced the margin thanks to a goal by Sebastian Obando.

Swieqi United defeated Marsaskala Futsal Legends 8-1.

Dylan Pace and Karl Luke Schembri scored a brace each with Alexander Dominguez and Guillherme Fonseca scoring the other two goals. Dale Valletta and Andrew Cachia were both unlucky to commit an own goal. Marsascala’s only goal came from Jovica Milijic.
