Under-21 side to face San Marino in two friendly matches

The Malta Under-21 National Team will be facing San Marino twice in the space of a few days in the June international window.

The two international friendlies will both be played at the Stadio Ezio Conti in Dogana, San Marino.

Malta will first be taking on San Marino on Wednesday 4th June 2025, with kick-off at 18:00hrs, followed by a second match on Saturday 7th June 2025, which will be kicking off at the same time.

The matches will come in Coach Davide Mazzotta’s second international window in charge of the U21 National Team.

In the most recent window, Malta drew 1-1 with Estonia in an international friendly.

The friendlies against San Marino will provide further international experience to the young team ahead of the upcoming 2025-27 UEFA European U21 Championship Qualifiers, where Malta has been drawn in Group F. The group also contains Germany, Georgia, Greece, Northern Ireland, and Latvia.
