UEFA Champions League, Conference League first qualifying round draws to be held on Tuesday

The 2025/26 UEFA Champions League and UEFA Conference League first qualifying round draws will be held on Tuesday at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland.

Malta will be represented by Hamrun Spartans in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League and by Floriana and Birkirkara in the UEFA Conference League first qualifying round. 

Since Hamrun are unseeded, they would be facing one of the seeded teams, namely: Ludogorets Razgrad (BUL), FCSB (ROM), Olimpija Ljubljana (SLO), Malmo FF (SWE), Zalgiris Vilnius (LIT), RFS Riga (LAT), Zrinjski Mostar (BOS), Lincoln Red Imps (GIB), KuPS Kuopio (FIN), The New Saints (WAL), FC Drita (KOS), Breidablik (ISL), Linfield (NIR) and Buducnost Podgorica (MON).

In the UEFA Conference League, Floriana are seeded and will face a team among FC Santa Coloma (AND), Dynamo Brest (BLR), FK Auda (LAT), Neman Grodno (BLR), FCB Magpies (GIB), Atletic Club d’Escaldes (AND), Torpedo Kutaisi (GEO), Valur Reykjavik (ISL), Tre Fiori (SMR), Zeljeznicar Sarajevo (BOS), Cliftonville (NIR), Racing Union Luxembourg (LUX), Sileks Kratovo (MAC), BFC Daugavpils (LAT), KF Malisheva (KOS), SJK Seinajoki (FIN), NSI Runavik (FAR), FC Hegelmann (LIT), Kalju Nomme (EST), Dinamo Tirana (ALB), Haverfordwest County (WAL), Penybont (WAL), Vardar Skopje (MAC) and Rabotnicki Skopje (MAC).

Birkirkara, on the other hand, are unseeded and will face one of the seeded teams, namely Shamrock Rovers (IRE), FK Borac Banja Luka (BOS), HJK Helsinki (FIN), Flora Tallinn (EST), KI Klaksvik (FAR), Vikingur Reykjavik (ISL), Pyunik Yerevan (ARM), Petrocub Hincesti (MOL), Larne FC (NIR), Paide Linnameeskond (EST), F91 Dudelange (LUX), Partizani Tirana (ALB), St. Patrick Athletic (IRE), La Fiorita (SMR), Sutjeska Niksic (MON), Vllaznia Shkoder (ALB), Kauno Zalgiris (LIT), Ordabasy Shykent (KAZ), NK Koper (SLO), Decic Tuzi (MON), Urartu FC (ARM), Torpedo Zhodino (BLR), St. Joseph’s FC (GIB) and Dila Gori (GEO).

Meanwhile Hibernians will enter the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference  League. The draws will be held on Wednesday.
