Malta twenty-seven year old international winger Trent Buhagiar joined BG Tampines Rovers Football Club.
Tampines Rovers Football Club is a professional club based in Tampines, Singapore, that competes in the Singapore Premier League, the top tier of the Singapore football league system. They finished second in the league and were the losing finalists in the Singaporean Cup this season. They qualified for the AFC Champions League Two group stage and the ASEAN Club Championship
A product of Central Coast Mariners, Buhagiar also played for Sydney FC, with whom he won the championship, and Newcastle Jets in the Australian A-League before opting to join Brescia in the Italian Serie B last summer. Buhagiar played for the Australia Under-23 national team earlier in his career.
Australia-born Buhagiar made his Malta debut last October in the UEFA Nations League clash with Moldova.
