Five Premier players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the mid-week programme from the YoHealth Malta Premier.

Andrew Borg and Luis Riascos (Gzira), Vincenzo Polito (Hamrun), Thaylor (Valletta) and Gustavo Alcino (Sliema) will therefore skip this weekend’s matches.

Birkirkara official Roderick Briffa was banned for two matches.

Meanwhile Dejan Vukovic (Victoria Hotspurs) was handed a one-match ban after the BOV Amateur Cup semi-finals.
