Victoria Hotspurs to be allowed to play some of their home matches in Gozo

Victoria Hotspurs will be allowed to play a number of their home matches of the BOV Challenge League first phase in Gozo after a motion was approved during the Malta FA General Assembly which was held on Friday.

The motion presented by Victoria Hotspurs and seconded by Zurrieq, stated that this would occur if the opponent of a particular fixture would agree to have the game played in Gozo, in agreement with the Gozo FA, and that all expenses would be covered by Victoria Hotpsurs (or sponsors).

Thirty eight voted in favour, two abstained and one voted against.

The Hotspurs joined the Malta FA competitions in 2024, winning two consecutive promotions from the IZIBET Amateur League II to the Amateur League I and from the BOV Amateur League I to the Challenge League.
