Floriana secured the services of Brazilian twenty five year old central defender Kauan Alexandre Martins de Paula.

A product of XV Piracicaba, Kauan was also on the books of Corinthians, Marilia and Anapolis before moving to Europe to join JK Trans Narva. Later he played for Brera Strumica in North Macedonia, Turan Tovuz in Azerbaijan and Hapoel Acre in Israel.

The Greens, who have confirmed Daniel Portela as coach for this coming season, had earlier signed Robert Muric.
