Hamrun Spartans secured the services of Brazilian twenty seven year old forward Lucas Villela Iapert.
Villela played for ACR Maceirinha, GD Os Vidreiros, CA Molelos, Carvalhais FC, Mortagua FC, Caldas FC and Lusitania FC Lourosa in Portugal before moving to Hibernians in January 2025. Last January, he moved to Kuwait to join Al-Fahaheel SC.
The Spartans had earlier signed Jake Grech, Tobias BjΓΈrnstad, Emmanuel Ernest and Messie Biatoumoussoka while confirming the departure of Henry Bonello and Joseph Mbong apart from Mouad El Fanis, Blessing Eleke, Ivan Inzoudine and Michele Carboni.
