Qala Saints won the BOV GFA Cup after defeating champions Nadur Youngsters 4-1 at the Gozo Stadium on Sunday.

Jordi Parnis put Qala ahead on the 32nd minute and ten minutes in the second half, Christian Mercieca doubled the score. Matthias Said reduced the gap for Nadur on the 61st but Igor Nedeljkovic restored the two goal lead thirteen minutes from time with Mercieca adding another one minute in added time.

Qala had defeated Victoria Hotspurs 3-0 and SK Victoria Wanderers in the previous rounds while Nadur beat Munxar Falcons 5-0 and Xewkija Tigers 1-0 in the quarter-finals and semi-finals.

This was the second honour for Qala this season after winning the First Division Knock-Out. Nadur, on the other hand, won the BOV Gozo Football League First Division after winning the Super Cup in the beginning of the season.
