Ghedin names provisional squad ahead of Lithuania friendly, Bulgaria qualifier

pietro----ghedinNational coach Pietro Ghedin named the provisional squad ahead of the friendly match against Lithuania and the EURO qualifier against Bulgaria at the National Stadium on June 8 and June 12 respectively.

Andrew Hogg, Steve Borg and Jonathan Caruana are all ruled out injured while Steve Bezzina, Ryan Camenzuli, Jurgen Pisani, Conor Borg, Ryan Fenech, Mark Scerri and Jean Paul Farrugia who were also part of the squad which travelled to Tbilisi and Baku in March for a friendly match against Georgia and a EURO qualifier against Azerbaijan were left out of the provisional squad.

New faces in the squad are Balzan defender Clive Brincat and Tarxien Rainbows midfielder Firas Aboulezz. Glen Zammit, Alex Muscat, Clifford Gatt Baldacchino, Edward Herrera, Joseph Zerafa, Terence Vella and Michael Mifsud, on the other hand, are back in squad.
