After securing the services of Vito Plut and Fabrizio Miccoli, Birkirkara FC signed another striker Edin Murga. Murga hails from Bosnia and Herzegovina but also holds an Italian passport.

Twenty-year old Edin Murga started his career at FK Zeljeznicar and then moved to FK Sarajevo before joining AEK Athens in Greece in season 2013/14 where he made five appearances at the age of just nineteen years old. Last season, he played for Vendsyssel FF in the Danish First Division League where he made thirteen appearances and scored one goal.

Murga could make his debut on Thursday in the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round first leg against FC Ulisses of Armenia.
