Swieqi United returned to winning ways as they defeated Mellieha 3-0 at the Luxol Stadium in a match from the BOV Second Division on Friday.

Patrick Briscoe White put Swieqi ahead on the 3rd minute, Kenneth Ekezie doubled the score on the 74th and deep into stoppage time, Briscoe White converted another to seal the issue.

Zejtun lead the way with 12 points, followed by Qrendi on 10, San Gwann and Zabbar 9, Attard 7, Swieqi 6, Siggiewi 5, Marsaxlokk, Mgarr, Birzebbuga ad St. George’s 4, Gudja 3, Ghaxaq and Mellieha 2.
