A goal five minutes in added time enabled Mosta to rescue a point in a 1-1 draw with Santa Lucia in a match from the BOV Premier League Play-Out final round at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Sunday.
A draw which leaves the Blues to points ahead of Santa Lucia and five ahead of Balzan with two matches to go for each side.
Santa Lucia were a better side in the first half taking the lead on the 27th minute thanks to Gianmarco Conti who received an assist by Victor Luiz Prestes Filho before hitting low with the ball being deflected by Jonas Rodriguez Ekani past goalkeeper Ini Etim Akpan.
Mosta were unlucky to hit the upright with a Nathan Agius effort five minutes later.
In the second half, Mosta improved but it was only five minutes in added time that they managed to level matters courtesy of a Clayton Failla freekick which saw the ball hit the posts twice before ending at the back of the net.
