Gzira United forward Maxuell Maia da Silva was handed a three-match ban after being sent off during the Izibet FA Trophy Round of 32 match against Sliema Wanderers on Sunday.

Since Gzira are still in the competition, Maxuell Samurai will serve this ban in the FA Trophy.

Meanwhile Mark Scerri who was sent off in the same game was banned for one match.

Ghajnsielem official Jonathan Borg was also banned for one match.
