UEFA Under-19 appointment for Matthew De Gabriele

FIFA referee Matthew De Gabriele joined by Assistant Referee James Muscat are currently in Danilovgrad, Podgorica, capital city of Montenegro, selected to join the pool of match officials for the UEFA Mini-Tournament European Under-19 Championship 2024.

This Qualifying Round Group 12 contains in total four teams, namely England, Austria, Wales, and Montenegro.

De Gabriele has been assigned two matches in this mini-tournament, both involving the host nation Montenegro who will face England later today in this opening day of competition, Tuesday next week on the final day of action FIFA badge referee Matthew De Gabriele will step in yet again in his role of referee for the match between Montegero and Wales.

In both matches, James Muscat will assist as the first Assistant Referee.

Furthermore, Matthew De Gabriele will also act as fourth official in the other match involving Montenegro, when they rub shoulders with Austria at the weekend, a game that also sees the participation of James Muscat, acting for this particular match as second Assistant Referee.
