Five Premier League players suspended

Five Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

The players are Zachary Scerri (Gzira), Nikolai Muscat (Marsaxlokk), Evans Damian Anene (Mosta), Joseph Marie Minala (Sliema) and Victor Luiz Prestes Filho (Valletta).

In the BOV Challenge League, Brandon Muscat (Marsa), Nick Cutajar (Melita), Isaac Cutajar (Pieta) and James Scicluna (Zabbar) were suspended for one match while Marsa official Ayrton Bonnici was banned for six matches.

On the other hand, in the IZIBET Amateur League, Matthew Degiorgio and Aaron Hili (Kalkara), Isaac Galea (Mqabba), Jesmar Degabriele (Pembroke), Isaac Micallef and Kurt Muscat (Rabat), Adrian Paul Sammut (Xghajra), Tyron Hili (Marsaskala), Adam Falzon (San Gwann), Gianluca Sultana (St. George’s) and Miguel Agius (Ta’ Xbiex) were all handed a one-match ban while Kalkara official Neville Spiteri was suspended for four matches.
