Four Premier League players suspended

Four Premier League players were handed a suspension by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner followng the weekend’s matches.

Ivan Bozovic (Balzan) was banned forever three matches while Thaylor Aldama (Gzira), Steve Borg (Hamrun) and Elizeu Espirito Santo da Conceicao (Naxxar) were suspended for one match. 

Sliema Wanderers official Walter Arciola was banned for one match.

In the Challenge League, Augusto Rene Caseres (Marsa), Edmund Gbordzor (Senglea), Brite Ihuomah (Zurrieq), Miguel Micallef and Kenley Scerri (Lija), Edward Bugeja (Msida) and Ayrton Mizzi (Zebbug) were suspended for one match.

On the other hand, in the Amateur League, Tejumola Ebenezer Ayorinde (Mellieha), Jeremy Busuttil and Dylan Mifsud (Mtarfa), Brandon Bray and Paul Paris (Qrendi), Johann Zarb (Siggiewi), Glenn Bonnici (Santa Venera), Haydon Borg (Dingli), Ryan Spiteri (Marsaskala), Joseph Paul Zammit (Mgarr), Owen Galea and Andrea Mizzi (St. George’s) and Miguel Agius (Ta’ Xbiex) were suspended for one match.

Santa Venera coach Marco Grech was banned for two matches and Mgarr official Kurt Baldacchino and Qormi coach Jurgen Mifsud was suspended for one match.
