Police are currently investigating a case of corruption involving a Premier League club official.

The Integrity Department of the Malta Football Association is assisting police in the investigation.

It seems that the official from a Premier League club is being investigated after approaching a player of an opposing team in an attempt to fix the match involving the two teams.
