Tarxien Rainbows FC have exercised the extension clause in the contract of Miguel D’Alessandro, who will continue to be part of their squad for the 2025/2026 following a definite transfer from Sliema
Wanderers last season.

A product of St. Andrews, DAlessandro moved to Sliema Wanderers in summer 2022 but joined the Rainbows last season.

Team Manager Dillon Mercieca stated the following regarding Miguel: “ Miguel, our solid central defender, has proven time and time again to be a pillar at the back—strong, determined, and a true team player. His commitment on and off the pitch speaks volumes, and there’s no doubt he’s ready to give everything for the badge and for this club. Despite facing a tough injury last season due to a muscle tear in December that made him miss six weeks, he really worked hard to recover in the least amount of time to make himself available to the the team in it’s promotion fight”.
