Montenegrin striker Bojan Kaljevic extended his contract with Balzan until the end of season 2019/2020.
Kaljevic joined Balzan mid-way through season 2014/15 from Mosta after spending eighteen months with the Blues.
Balzan President Anton Tagliaferro said “Following several months of discussion, I am pleased to confirm that Bojan will remain a Balzan player until the end of the 2019/20 season. Other leading Maltese clubs and many well regarded clubs from overseas were in touch with the club regarding our intentions regarding Bojan , and I hope that this announcement makes clear of the player’s commitment to the club.”
Tagliaferro added “We remain very happy with Bojan’s contribution on the field and impressed by his professionalism and commitment.”
Bojan Kaljevic said “I am very happy to stay in Malta with Balzan and I want to thank the President for all he has done for me, particularly by supporting me through my injury last year. We are in a good position to challenge for honours this year and I hope I can win a few trophies in my next few seasons with Balzan.”
