Seventeen Futsal coaches pass first MFA Basic Futsal Course

On the 30th May, Malta Football Association Vice-President Ludovigo Micallef presented seventeen Futsal Coaches with a Diploma after successfully following the first Basic Futsal Coaching Course ever held in Malta.

This course held by MFA was conducted by Malta Futsal National Coach Mr. Vic Hermans, who is also a FIFA/UEFA Instructor, between February and April followed by exams which were held in May.

The aim of this course was to prepare coaches to develop and enforce coaching during matches; Analyzing the Futsal games; Game preparation and debriefing; First Aid; Referees and Guiding players.

The participants underwent theoretical and practical sessions; coaching sessions of Futsal teams; aptitude tests (coaching and analyzing) and written exams.

The qualified coaches were the following:
