During the last meeting of the Hibernians FC Executive Committee for season 2011/12, president Tony Bezzina thanked Treasurer and Team Manager Jesmond Abela as the latter will not stand for re-election.

Bezzina said that Abela has been serving the club for around twenty years with dedication and love for the club and that the other committee members will feel his absence.

On the other hand, Jesmond Abela thanked the President for the faith he showed him throughout the years and thanked all the members of the committee for their support.

In the short statement, the Hibernians FC Executive Committee thanked Jesmond Abela, wishing him success for the future.

A new treasurer will be elected following next Sunday’s Annual General Meeting.
