Joe Mallia, an MFA Official in charge of administration at the Technical Centre, who incidentally was head of the same school, advised the youngsters to be diligent in school matters while also joining a nursery and be active in a some kind of sport.

The national team players were then introduced to the pupils who showed great enthusiasm in greeting them. Justin Haber told them that they should carry out their school duties in the best possible way and then dream big in order to attain their objectives. On her part, Charlene Zammit recounted how her father used to take her regularly from Zurrieq to the Melita Ground to train and after a lot of sacrifice she made it to the national team. Now she feels very honoured to be part of the group.

The question and answer session turned out to be a very interesting part of the morning programme. The subjects were various and included dietary habits, health and wellness of the players, the art and subsequent joy of goal scoring and the satisfaction one gets from playing abroad in bigger leagues.

This session was followed by the presentation of the national team shirt to the head of school after which the players distributed flyers and posters to the pupils and signed autographs while going around them in the hall. The visit was concluded with a meeting between the MFA delegation and the school administration on possible future collaboration.
