Enoch Barwuah, brother of AC Milan and Italian national team striker Mario Balotelli, joined Qormi.
Barwuah had trials with Napoli in Italy, Stoke City and Sunderland in England before signing for non-league club Salford City. Earlier this summer, he was linked with Steaua Bucharest.
Although the nineteen-year old striker is yet to leave his mark in the game, Enoch Barwuah had said he would be thrilled at an invitation to play for Ghana even though he did not overrule the possibility of featuring for Italy.
Following the appointment of Tommaso Volpi as their new coach, the Yellow Blacks have a host of Italian players on trial.
None of the foreigners who played for Qormi last season were retained
