Xghajra Tornados moved fourth in the BOV Third Division as they beat Luqa St. Andrew’s 1-0 in one of the six matches in programme on Sunday. Xghajra have therefore maintained a clean sheet for the last seven matches.

Leaders Sirens kept a two-point lead over Swieqi United as the former defeated Mtarfa 2-0 and the latter beat Ta’ Xbiex 2-1.

Attard beat Kalkara 4-1 while Mgarr United defeated Marsaxlokk 2-1. In another match, Sta. Venera Lightnings registered a narrow 1-0 win over Qrendi.

Sirens lead the way with 36 points, followed by Swieqi on 32, Ghaxaq 28, Xghajra 26, Santa Lucia and Luqa 24, Attard 23, Mgarr 21, Sta. Venera 19, Qrendi 16, Mtarfa 12, Ta’ Xbiex 8, Kalkara 3 and Marsaxlokk -2.
