Mqabba FC Youth Nursery has appointed Mr Nicholas Baldacchino in the position of Head Coach as from next season. Mr Baldacchino will replace Mr Mark Bondin who has parted company with the nursery in view of his appointment with another nursery.

Baldacchino, a UEFA B Licence holder, has been involved in youth football for several years and for the past twelve years has been part of the coaching staff complement at Mqabba FC Youth Nursery. During these twelve years Baldacchino has demonstrated a positive attitude, commitment and enthusiasm towards the beautiful game of football among youngsters. This approach, combined with his leadership traits, propelled the nursery’s committee to appoint Mr Baldacchino as Head Coach from next season with the aim to pursue on the strategy and objectives adopted by the Nursery under the tenure of Mr Bondin in line with the nursery slogan ‘For the Good of the Young’.

On behalf of the members, players, parents and coaches at the Mqabba FC Youth Nursery, the Committee congratulates Baldacchino for his appointment and looks forward to collaborate with him in his new position with ultimate aim of pursuing the nursery’s objectives.

The Committee also takes this opportunity to thank outgoing Head Coach Mark Bondin for his vision, determination, leadership and diligent service in founding the Mqabba FC Youth Nursery and running its technical department for fourteen consecutive years, and wishes him all the best in his new appointment and for his career. Bondin will continue in the position of Head Coach until the end of the current season.
