Floriana secured the services of Pembroke Athleta goalkeeper Matthew Calleja Cremona on loan until the end of the season.

Calleja Cremona, who is a member of the Under-21 national squad, is a product of Pembroke Athleta and was playing on a regular basis with the club in Division 1 as they are currently fighting for promotion to the Premier League.

Italian goalkeeper Valerio Senatore had joined Floriana this summer but seventeen-year old Tyrone Gauci has been guarding the posts for the past couple of months after the Italian goalkeeper sustained an injury.
