Malta will be facing Georgia in one of the friendly matches as part of the training camp in Austria which will be held in May/June. The game will be played on June 1.
As part of the preparations for the UEFA Nations League which kicks-off in September, the national team led by Tom Saintfiet already met Estonia (0-3), Luxembourg (0-1) and Finland (0-5) in friendly matches and is expected to play another two friendly matches while in Austria.
Like Malta, Georgia will be playing in League D – in Group 1 along with Andorra, Latvia and Kazakhstan. Malta will play in League D2 along with Azerbaijan, the Faroe Islands and Kosovo.
