Challenge League side San Gwann joined Mosta in the quarter-finals of the Izibet FA Trophy as they scored twice in the second half to beat Pieta’ Hotspurs 2-0 at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Wednesday.
Gonzalo Nicolas Virano put San Gwann ahead on the 62nd and eight minutes from time, Tobi Akiti doubled the score.
The Hotspurs had Daniel Zerafa sent off on the 74th minute.
