FIFA referee Matthew De Gabriele has been assigned to officiate an important UEFA Under-21 Championship qualifier as Romania locks horns with Albania in Bucharest, a match scheduled to be played this Friday.
Ninety minutes of huge significance and great intensity are expected as both nations are vying for qualification, with Albania currently leading Group E with 9 points from four matches, followed by Switzerland on seven and Romania on six but the latter two have a game in hand.
De Gabriele will be assisted by Jurgen Spiteri and Mitchell Scerri in their role of Assistant Referees, whereas Andrea Sciriha will complete the team of Maltese match officials in his role of 4th official.
