Saviour Darmanin had another busy week in England where he visited various football clubs and goalkeepers’ schools and ran sessions for goalkeepers.
Darmanin went to Leicestershire & Rutland County FA which is a Grassroots Club. There he met senior development officer Maryon Hayton who is Maltese. At Peterborough United, Saviour Darmanin ran a session for goalkeepers. There he met Head Of Youth Development Dave Roberson and one of their coaches Lewis Webb.
The former Malta international goalkeeper then ran a session for goalkeepers session at Sheffield Goalkeepers school and another at Sheffield FC – the oldest football club in the world. Darmanin then visited the Sheffield United Academy and Barmall Lane.
