Another four matches were in programme from the Maltco Lotteries First Division Knock-Out this weekend.

In Group 1, Melita registered a most comfortable 5-0 win over Msida St. Joseph while Balzan Youths and Lija Athletic shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw. Lija lead the way with four points, followed by Melita and Mosta on 3, Balzan one and Msida zero. Mosta and Balzan have a game in hand.

In Group 2, Mqabba registered their second win as they defeated Dingli Swallows 3-0. Pietà and St. Andrews earned their first point in a 1-1 draw.

Mqabba lead the way with six points, followed by St. George’s on three, Pietà and St. Andrews on one and Dingli zero. St. George’s and Dingli have a game in hand.
