Young Maltese goalkeeper Dorian Bugeja will be moving to Italy on the 17th August to start his new adventure with U.S. Latina Calcio in the Allievi Nazionali category.
Bugeja, who plays for Hibernians and is mentored by former international goalkeeper and Hibernians No. 1 Mario Muscat, was part of the Malta Academy squad which took part in the 22° Torneo Internazionale Città di Cairo Montenotte, leaving a very good impression.
The young goalkeeper described this opportunity as “My dream just came true.” He is very excited and ready to continue his development in Italy with U.S Latina Calcio after his dedication, hard work and determination all paid off.
Dorian Bugeja was full of praise to the Mario Muscat Goalkeeper’s School who have given him specific skill set that surely helped in his development.
The young Maltese goalkeeper will be the second Maltese player on the books of U.S. Latina Calcio as he will join Maltese international defender Andrei Agius who will definitely help Dorian Bugeja to settle quickly in Italy.
