Tarxien Rainbows’ forward Daniel Mariano Bueno landed the first BOV Player of the Month award for 2013. This coincides with the Rainbows’ ascent to the Championship Pool.

The Brazilian striker had an excellent month, emerging as one of his team’s kingpins in January and helped the Rainbows into the top four of the BOV Premier League. His positive performance also saw him finding the net twice against Mosta and Melita, brining his tally to four goals in just one month.

Joseph Grech, Manager of the Paola BOV branch, presented the winning trophy to Mr Bueno. Dar Santa Rita of Tarxien was the charity chosen by the Brazilian to receive the monthly donation associated with this award.
