Siggiewi kept the pace with leaders Attard as they defeated Mtarfa 5-0 in one of the two BOV Third Division matches in programme at the Sirens Stadium on Saturday.

Siggiewi took the lead through Eman Ciappara on the 8th minute and a brace by Gilbert Camilleri on the 70th and 74th put victory beyond doubt. Leider Manuel Caneta Vega converted a penalty on the 79th and three minutes from time, Jason Camilleri added another.

In another match, Gharghur defeated Mdina Knights 3-1. 

Trevor Cilia opened the score on the 15th but Daniel Cremona equalised on the 31st. Omar Smeir restored the lead for Gharghur on the 39th and Warren Zerafa sealed the issue with a third goal on the 73rd.

Attard lead the way with 31 points, followed by Siggiewi on 29, Gharghur 28, Kirkop 26, Msida 25, Dingli and Ghaxaq 21, Marsaskala 15, Mdina 11, Mtarfa 10, Sta. Venera 6 and Ta’ Xbiex 4.
