Attard keep marching on in the BOV Third Division as they defeated Mdina Knights 4-2 at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.

Goals by Bledi Alla on the 27th and Ryan Caruana on the 32nd put Attard two goals ahead and Kurt Drakard reduced the gap for Mdina five minutes in the second half. Christian Farrugia restored the lead for Attard on the 57th minute. Marcus Manuel Aruajo scored a second goal for Mdina on the 84th but Nicholas Schembri sealed the issue for Attard one minute from time.

In another match, Kirkop United defeated Mtarfa 2-1. 

Dylan Lee Tanti put Kirkop ahead on the 57th and Abeeb Abiodun Williams doubled the score on the 69th. Ikechukwu Igwemeke pulled one back for Mtarfa seven minutes from time.

Attard lead the way with 40 points, followed by Kirkop and Siggiewi on 33, Gharghur 30, Msida 29, Ghaxaq 27, Dingli and Marsaskala 24, Mdina 11, Mtarfa 10, Sta. Venera 7 and Ta’ Xbiex 4.
