Four Premier League players were suspended by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the mid-week matches.

Enrico Pepe (Birkirkara), Llywelyn Cremona (Gudja), Zachary Cassar (Senglea) and Ryan Fenech (Valletta) are therefore ruled out of this weekend’s matches.

Pepe will skip the clash with Sliema, Cremona the game against Gudja, Cassar the clash with Tarxien and Fenech the game against Santa Lucia.

Gudja team manager Stuart Abdilla was banned for two matches.

In the Challenge League, Lee James Agius (St. George’s) was suspended for one match.
