Sirens continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of Japanese midfielder Rei Tachikawa.

The twenty-three year old played for Jubilo Iwata and Osaka University in Japan before moving to Portugal in 2018 to join Perafita. However in the January 2019 transfer window, he moved to Felgueiras. In summer 2019, he moved to Malta to join Santa Lucia where he spent the last two years.

After the appointment of Winston Muscat as their new coach, the club signed goalkeepers Jonathan Debono and Sean Mintoff, Carlo Zammit Lonardelli, Conor Borg, Sacha Borg and Alfred Effiong while Adrian Borg and Jacob Walker were confirmed.
