Malta Under-19 international Lucas Caruana will be playing for Hibernians once again after agreeing a deal with the club.

Caruana spent last season with Italian Serie A side Sampdoria, playing for their Primavera side.

The Paolites, who have just appointed Branko Nisevic as their new coach, had earlier signed goalkeeper Jonathan Debono, Samuel Okoh, Johann Bezzina, Claudio Bonanni, Armen Hovhannisyan, Giannis Bastianos, Eriks de Souza Santos Pereira, Robert Bairam and Alex Bruno de Souza Silva.
