Luxol St. Andrews achieved a treble of successes in the local futsal scene after winning the E & L Futsal Trophy on Friday evening with a dominant performance and an 8-0 score over ŻRQ Bormla.

Gabriel Dobre’s boys added this cup after winning the Super Cup at the beginning of the season and the Enemed Futsal League.

Luxol made their intentions clear right from the start and by the end of the first half they were already leading 4-0. In the second half, they remained in control, scoring another four goals.

Captain Mark Zammit and Andre Ciancio netted a brace each while Andy Mangion, Robert Stoyanov, Luke Gatt and Michael Borg scored the other goals.

At the end of the match, FMA general secretary Dr. Stefan Cutajar presented the cup to Luxol’s captain Mark Zammit.
