The MFA Technical Centre will be launching the new UEFA ‘A’ Course next Friday with the first module of the course. For this occasion UEFA will be sending its instructor, Nico Romeijn from the Dutch FA.
Romeijn is Director of Coaching Academies of the Dutch KNVB and member of the UEFA Coaches Forum. His experience and instruction will give a great impetus to the participants of this UEFA ‘A’ course which at present is the highest level of coaching qualification one can obtain in Malta.
The course will be conducted over eight modules, covering a period of eight months and finishing with theoretical and practical assessments.
The main objective of the course is to develop in the coaches a high level of self-confidence and to help each of them acquire the ability and personality to instil a positive coaching environment for the development of the modern game.
On Saturday morning, Premier, First Division and MFA staff coaches are also being invited to attend sessions by Mr. Romeijn as part of the Technical Centre Coach Education.
