Mosta FC’s Dorianne Theuma is the first female player ever to receive the BOV Female Player of the Month.

Bank of Valletta has, this season extended the BOV Player of the Month award, that rewards excellence in performance to the Women’s league in line with its commitment towards gender equality through BOV’s extensive Community Programme.

Dorianne has been playing football from a very young age starting her career with Hibernians FC and later moving to Mosta FC. Besides being a very talented footballer, Dorianne is also a qualified coach and is currently sitting for her UEFA ‘B’ licence.

Emily Grech, Manager of Bank of Valletta’s Mosta Branch presented Dorianne with the BOV Female Player of the Month trophy for September/October 2012 .
