Malta international midfielder Rowen Muscat joined newly-promoted Hungarian top division side Dunaújváros PASE after being on the verge of agreeing a deal with FK Olimpic Sarajevo of Bosnia-Herzegovina earlier this month.
A product of Birkirkara, Muscat made his Premier League debut in season 2009/10. He won two championships with the Stripes in season 2009/10 and 2012/13.

His contract with Birkirkara expired at the end of the past season.
Dunaújváros will be playing in the Hungarian First Division (NB I) this season after finishing as runners-up in the Second Division (NB II) last season.
Meanwhile another Birkirkara player – Zach Muscat could move elsewhere as a number of Italian clubs have expressed interest in acquiring his services. These include three Serie B sides – Virtus Lanciano, Pescara and Livorno.
