The 9th Edition of the Teamsport Goalkeeper Battle will be held on Saturday 8th June at Luxol Stadium.

There will be ten categories and up to thirty two goalkeepers can participate in each category. Goalkeepers will be grouped in fours and the winner and runner up in each group moves on will pass to the second round which will take us to the finals. Each game has a duration of 4 minutes and all games are controlled by MFA referees.

The categories are: Under-9, Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17, Under-19, Seniors, Girls, Doubles and Over 40.

All participants will be given a Macron goalkeeper kit, Numero 1 goalkeeper gloves and a commemorative medal.Winners, runners-up and third place in each category will be given a Trophy. There will also be two special awards – one for the top scorer and the other for the least goals conceded.

The event will have Teamsport as the main sponsor with the brand Macron. Once again, all profit generated from the event will go to ZEMZEM Foundation which is a voluntary organization which provides monetary assistance to patients suffering from diseases such as leukemia.

Closing date is the 20th May and the draws will be held on the 26th of May at Teamsport, Iklin.
