Three Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following Match-Day 1 of the BOV Premier League.

Andrei Agius (Hibernians), Carl Joseph Cassar (Lija) and Ryan Scicluna (Sirens) were banned for one match and are therefore ruled out of this weekend’s matches.

Agius is ruled out of the clash with Floriana, Cassar the game against Gudja while Scicluna skips the game against Sliema.

Meanwhile Floriana FC official Peter Agius and Gzira United team manager Marlon Galea were both banned for two matches.
