Raiders Lija were awarded the Assikura Women’s Youth Knock-Out after Swieqi United failed to turn up for the final at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.

Raiders Lija were therefore awarded a walk-over.

Earlier during the week, Swieqi United had announced their intention to award two walk-overs in the Assikura Women’s Youth Knock-Out final and the Women’s Under-17 Knock-Out final due to the fact that the two matches were being played in less than twenty four hours, considering the fact that several of the players play for the two teams.

However their request for a change in fixtures was turned down.
